During his 17-year career, Cito Beguiristain has been involved in the development, construction, management, sales, leasing and marketing of various housing developments in Florida. His primary focus at Auburn Development where he serves as Executive Vice-President is the acquisition, finance, and development of land for affordable housing. He is instrumental in securing comprehensive plan amendments, zoning changes, site-plan approval and local government financial commitments for Auburn's developments.

Cito began his career in the multi-family housing industry in 1993 with the Related Group of Florida. He also has worked with the Cornerstone Group, served as vice president of Continental Construction, and was director of sales and management for Atlantic & Pacific Management.

He has served on the public policy board of the Urban Land Institute's Terwilliger Center, has been a guest speaker on the subjects of workforce housing and community revitalization at various Urban Land Institute conventions and events, and has provided expert testimony to the Florida Legislature's task force on affordable housing.

Cito is a graduate of Nova Southeastern University where he earned a bachelor's degree in life science and completed his course work for his master's in business administration.
